Job Description
Carlisle is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Central Engineering team. This is an opportunity to lead capital projects that transform ideas into fully operational manufacturing equipment and systems across our growing organization. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will own projects from concept through startup, including developing project scopes, preparing funding requests, specifying and procuring equipment, managing budgets and schedules, coordinating contractors, and supporting installation and commissioning. You'll partner closely with plant Engineering and Maintenance, Operations, EH&S, and leadership to identify technical challenges and deliver practical solutions that improve manufacturing capabilities. You'll apply your mechanical engineering expertise to a wide range of industrial projects involving manufacturing equipment, utilities, piping, instrumentation, temperature control systems, and mechanical systems. You'll also troubleshoot existing equipment, evaluate vendor proposals, develop equipment and installation specifications, and provide technical support and training to plant personnel.
