Create detailed test plans and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers throughout project delivery. Analyse and interpret test data, producing accurate and meaningful results. Validate testing systems, including functionality, safety, and quality checks. Lead troubleshooting activities involving engines, vehicles, instrumentation, and test equipment. Train and mentor engineers and test cell operators. Maintain and improve operating procedures, documentation, and quality processes. Participate in technical meetings, project reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to all company and regulatory health and safety requirements. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Master's Degree in Engineering is advantageous. Minimum of 3 years' engineering experience. Previous experience within engine testing, emissions testing, or a similar technical environment preferred. Strong knowledge of emissions regulations, testing procedures, and calibration practices. Solid understanding of engine and emissions testing equipment. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to modify, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and customer-facing capabilities. Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
