Job Title:
Mechanical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of our cutting-edge aerospace products. This position focuses on hands-on mechanical design for both legacy and core product lines, including crucial components such as air data modules and flat panel displays. This role is essential due to increased workload and program demands. The Mechanical Engineer will be instrumental in enhancing engineering efficiency by taking ownership of designs and alleviating the workload of senior engineers. This technical role is ideal for someone committed to a long-term career in mechanical engineering. Responsibilities Develop and design mechanical components for aerospace products. Ensure designs meet environmental considerations, including vibration, temperature, and humidity factors. Create detailed design documentation, including portfolios or design samples. Work closely with senior engineers to improve engineering throughput. Commit to a fully on-site presence in Exton, PA, five days a week. Essential Skills 3-7 years of professional mechanical design experience, or exceptional initiative shown through hobbyist design work or personal projects. Proficiency in CAD tools, specifically PTC Creo / Pro-E, with the ability to transition between different CAD systems. Strong mechanical design experience with a focus on actual design work rather than tool changes or analysis only. Desire to remain in a mechanical design-focused career long-term. Ability to work efficiently with minimal training and quickly become productive. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with PTC Creo / Pro-E is strongly preferred. Exposure to Finite Element Analysis (FEA) with a focus on vibration, structural, and environmental factors. Experience in the aerospace industry is beneficial. Awareness of electrical/PCB integration into mechanical designs is advantageous. Work Environment The position requires a full-time on-site commitment at our Exton, PA location. Candidates must be local or willing to reliably commute. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Exton, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00- $130000.00/yr. Bonus's
