Senior Design Engineer BAM Workforce Solutions is partnering with a leading industrial manufacturer in the Greater Philadelphia region seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their team. Overview:

Lead the design of custom mechanical parts from idea through production Design components that fit into larger systems and actually work in the real world Develop 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks, including cleaning up older designs Review drawings from junior team members to make sure they can be built correctly and efficiently Help train and guide drafters and junior engineers to improve their skills Review customer requirements and make sure designs will work and stay within budget Keep projects on track with timelines, scope, and costs Support product testing and make sure designs hold up in real-world conditions Create clear documentation and help reverse engineer parts when needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) 5+ years of experience Strong proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D modeling. Ability to read, interpret, and create engineering drawings and specifications. Experience working in a manufacturing or product development environment. $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
