Systems Engineer — Mechanical/HVAC Design Due to continued growth, Imperial Systems (Mercer, PA) is seeking an entry- to mid-level Mechanical Systems Design Engineer with a strong focus on Revit-based HVAC design for custom industrial air filtration systems. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build deep expertise in industrial ventilation engineering and grow within a well-established, expanding company.

Responsibilities:

Design and detail complete industrial dust and fume collection systems in Revit , including ductwork routing, equipment placement, and system layouts Apply HVAC/industrial ventilation design principles to develop efficient, code-compliant air filtration systems Develop accurate Bills of Materials from Revit models Perform basic engineering calculations to support system design and sizing Collaborate closely with project managers, sales, manufacturing, and purchasing to ensure designs translate smoothly from concept to fabrication Communicate directly with customers as needed to clarify design requirements Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initial design through final delivery ("cradle to grave")

Requirements:

Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (minimum) Working knowledge of Revit strongly preferred ; familiarity with SolidWorks and AutoCAD a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office HVAC or industrial ventilation design experience preferred Why this role: This position offers hands-on exposure to real-world HVAC and dust collection system design, with growth potential for someone looking to specialize in industrial air filtration engineering.
