We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with a strong focus on design engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems and components, perform finite element analysis (FEA) using ANSYS or other simulation software, create technical documentation, and support engineering projects from concept through production. This position is open to recent graduates with a strong technical foundation and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refine designs for mechanical or electromechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks. Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate structural, thermal, and mechanical performance of components and assemblies. Create and maintain detailed technical drawings and specifications. Produce clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation,2-D Drawings, including design reports, procedures, and user manuals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and testing to ensure designs meet functional, safety, and manufacturability requirements. Support prototype development, testing, and evaluation of new products. Apply engineering principles to troubleshoot and resolve design and performance issues. Continuously learn and adopt best practices in design, analysis, documentation, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Strong proficiency in SolidWorks including CAD modeling and assembly design. Experience performing FEA and hand calculations. Excellent technical writing and documentation skills. Solid understanding of engineering principles and materials. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to design complex mechanical systems and translate performance requirements into practical, manufacturable solutions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tolerancing. Experience with design validation and testing. Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools. Background in automotive engineering and/or aerospace engineering is preferred.
