The Mechanical Engineer will join a global technology team of engineers supporting the business in the sensing areas. Plan and coordinate technical engineering initiatives to make sure they can complete a project within budget and on time. Provide innovative sensor solutions as part of New Product Introductions (NPI) and Custom Product Opportunities (CPO): Product development- from inquiry to order and from order to production Concept, Design and Production validation Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis Product documentation
- CAD models, drawings, bill of materials Technical Regulations & Standards
- REACH, ROHS and IMDS Quality
- problem solving process, root cause analysis Timeliness

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR BS
in Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 5 years Mechanical Engineering experience post degree Successful experiences with designing packages for new sensors for various applications. Successful project management experience … demonstrated with successful examples of managing schedule, budget and exceeding customer expectations. Experience designing and developing sensor products customer applications. Innovative mindset … demonstrated by being owner of multiple patents. Experience with successful introduction of new products and processes into local and remote manufacturing locations. Experience with successful development and launch of sensor products within the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process. Successful utilization of plastic injection molding and automated manufacturing processes in sensor designs. Demonstrated ability to manage project tasks on time and on budget. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with co-workers.
