  • $130k Our client is a well-established automation systems integrator with more than 30 years of experience delivering automation solutions to customers across food processing, consumer packaged goods and OEM machinery.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing mechanical solutions from concept through to manufacturing and installation, while also providing technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers. Working closely with Project Management, Engineering, Fabrication and Assembly, you'll be responsible for designing and developing both standard and custom mechanical solutions. You'll work on a variety of projects involving fabricated and purchased components, equipment interfaces and production systems, with responsibility for ensuring designs are practical, manufacturable and delivered to the required quality, budget and schedule. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll also have the opportunity to mentor junior and mid-level Mechanical Engineers and help improve engineering processes and standards across the department. The day to day Develop mechanical engineering solutions for automation projects Support system engineering activities, including approval drawings and equipment interfaces Research, plan and design fabricated and purchased components Produce detailed 2D CAD drawings, including detail, assembly, weldment, installation and modification drawings Use SolidWorks to develop mechanical designs Participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives Work collaboratively across Engineering, Project Management, Fabrication and Assembly Requirements Excellent SolidWorks skills Excellent 2D CAD skills Experience creating detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment This is an opportunity to join an established automation business where Mechanical Engineering is a key part of the overall solution. Pay:
$120,000.00
  • $140,000.
