Qualifications Candidate is preferred to have at least an Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering or 3 years' experience as a machine designer Proficient with Solid Edge or Solid Works Ability to work as a team, with good communication skills, among fellow employees, as well as with customers Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Strong attention to detail Responsibilities Create designs for automation and process equipment that meets customer specifications Review mechanical prints for accuracy prior to release for production Develop documentation manual for assigned projects Mindfull of project timelines and budgets
