SEPC specializes in planning, design, cost estimating, construction administration, and inspections for both new and existing commercial, institutional, educational, residential and industrial buildings. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Mechanical Engineer in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection Building Systems Design Engineering with the ability to design such projects, conforming to Construction Codes in the States of NY and NJ, working from our offices located in Pine Brook, NJ.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Prepare complete mechanical engineering design scope reports, calculations, sizing, layouts, drawings, specifications and other documents Work with senior engineers to develop feasibility, CA studies, LCA, construction documents and specifications for MEP. Conceptualize initial design and develop comprehensive mechanical system design. Conduct site & condition surveys and prepare engineering documents as required Coordinate with Architects, other Engineering disciplines, contractors, clients and others Attend meetings with clients and others for review, construction phase and as required Provide follow-up and engineering supervision during project construction phase

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 0 to 5 years of experience in designing, drafting HVAC systems, not in a manufacturing/product environment Strong Technical knowledge of HVAC systems AutoCAD proficiency and REVIT experience Knowledge of NY and NJ Building Construction Codes & Standards Pursuing EIT, PE Preferred Must have approved/accepted work authorization SEPC offers an excellent compensation and benefits package.
