Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager / HVAC Designer to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing project management, technical leadership, and mechanical/HVAC design services across a variety of building projects. The ideal candidate will have strong MEP experience and the ability to manage projects while remaining actively involved in the technical design.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage mechanical projects and project teams from concept through completion. Provide technical leadership and mechanical/HVAC design on assigned projects. Assist with and produce construction documents for new buildings, renovations, and additions to existing facilities. Perform and review HVAC load calculations and equipment selections. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines. Review construction documents for accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. Communicate with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to address project needs and resolve technical issues. Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships. Incorporate sustainable and energy-efficient design practices into projects when applicable. What We're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineering (PE) registration. Experience in MEP engineering and mechanical/HVAC project management. Strong knowledge of mechanical building codes, standards, and industry practices. Experience performing accurate HVAC load calculations. Mechanical/HVAC design experience in retail, commercial, central plants, boilers, cooling towers, and related markets. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment selection, and building design. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and energy-efficient building systems. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively coordinate projects across multiple disciplines. High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with project teams.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
