Actalent is hiring a Mechanical Engineer (HVAC Design) in NYC! the role is a HYBRID schedule and mainly a DESIGN role

Key Responsibilities:

Design mechanical systems, including heating, cooling, heat rejection, air and hydronic distribution systems, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation, and controls. Perform system design calculations and analyze mechanical system options using industry-standard engineering and energy modeling software. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and standards. Prepare design documents, including basis of design reports, drawings (Revit), and specifications. Review design deliverables for technical accuracy and presentation quality. Coordinate work with architects and engineers from other disciplines. Contribute to mission-critical and healthcare projects.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 6 years of experience as an HVAC Design Engineer. Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP. Experience working on commercial, industrial, and healthcare projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Self-motivated with strong collaborative problem-solving abilities. Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills. EIT/PE certification is preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
