Mechanical Engineer III Location:
Remote (Anywhere in the United States)Travel:
Up to 10% An industry-leading engineering consulting firm specializing in mission-critical facilities is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to join its growing team. This position focuses on the design and delivery of hyperscale data centers and other high-performance infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineering and project management professionals, contributing to the design, documentation, and construction administration of complex mechanical systems. This is an opportunity to take ownership of technical work, engage directly with clients, and play a key role in delivering cutting-edge facilities. Key Responsibilities Develop and produce mechanical engineering designs and construction documents Perform HVAC load calculations, system analysis, and equipment selection Create and review Revit models and drawings Develop and review HVAC controls sequences of operation Prepare specifications, technical reports, RFIs, and submittal reviews Support construction administration, field investigations, and project closeout activities Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams Serve as a technical resource and client-facing representative on assigned projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience Experience designing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center facilities Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, load calculations, controls, and hydronic systems Proficiency with Revit and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment Strong communication and organizational skills What You'll Receive Fully remote work environment Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision coverage Generous PTO and paid holidays Professional development and licensing support Tuition reimbursement Paid parental leave Opportunity to work on some of the most advanced mission-critical projects in the industry This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical engineer looking to expand their technical expertise and contribute to the design of large-scale, high-performance facilities while working with a nationally recognized engineering team.
