This role combines mechanical engineering, project execution, equipment implementation, and site support to deliver solutions that improve facility performance, increase capacity, and support automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background along with experience leading facility upgrades, equipment installations, commissioning activities, and cross-functional engineering projects. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, fulfillment centers, warehouse operations, automation, robotics, or industrial facilities are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Lead engineering support for facility retrofit, expansion, and automation projects. Evaluate existing equipment, processes, and facility layouts to identify improvement opportunities. Develop engineering solutions to increase capacity, improve workflows, and support operational goals. Coordinate equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and operational readiness activities. Work closely with contractors, vendors, operations teams, and stakeholders throughout project execution. Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful completion. Conduct site visits to gather requirements, assess existing conditions, and support implementation activities. Provide technical guidance and project updates to engineering and leadership teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience supporting engineering projects in manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, distribution, or automation environments. Experience with facility retrofits, capital projects, equipment installation, commissioning, or automation initiatives. Strong project management experience, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination. Experience working directly with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Ability to travel up to 50% for project and site support activities. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting distribution centers, fulfillment centers, warehouse operations, or large manufacturing facilities. Exposure to automation systems, robotics, material handling equipment, or conveyor systems. Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software. Background in capital project execution, operational readiness, and facility improvements.
