We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Senior Mechanical Engineer in Dallas, TX . As a Mechanical Engineering Professional, part of our Cities and Places team, you will be an integral member of the design team. You will have the opportunity to perform building mechanical analysis and design for a wide range of projects locally, nationally, and around the world, producing technical reports, construction drawings and technical specifications. Specific Mechanical design efforts will entail design for manufacturing, education and healthcare facilities, data centers, planning studies, water and wastewater treatment facilities. Additionally, your expertise will be leveraged to help support pipe sizing calculations, pump selection, piping systems, chemical systems, HVAC Design, and hydraulic studies. Our projects bring innovative solutions to our clients' worldwide. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally through challenging projects and working closely with our multi-discipline design teams, Senior Project Managers, and our clients. If you are up for the challenge, we have been looking for someone just like you. #LI-AC2 Here's what you'll need Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Professional Engineering registration (P.E.) or ability to obtain. Minimum of 15 years relevant professional experience for infrastructure and building-related design projects. Ability to perform as a lead mechanical engineer. Experience working in a multi-discipline team with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Construction support services experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
Experience with US building codes:
IMC, UMC, ASHRAE 90.1/62.1/62.2, IPC, IBC.
Valid driver's license Will not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa (examples: H-1B, L-1B, or other temporary visa status like OPT or F-1) to work for Jacobs in the U.S. Ideally, you'll also have: Experience using building BIM drafting software (AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit). Practical, hands-on experience and/or construction support. Project Management Experience. Experience with alternate delivery (Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects). Experience in developing project level of efforts for building mechanical design.

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $132,900.00 to $208,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
