Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a senior member of our team, you will work in a schedule-driven, collaborative environment, working closely with our clients and reporting to the Mechanical Team Lead. This role offers the opportunity to influence projects from concept through startup while mentoring engineers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This position may be performed remotely from approved Eichleay operating locations, with preference given to candidates located near Ferndale, WA, Billings, MT, or other locations where Eichleay maintains operations to support client engagement and occasional project travel. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Eichleay, your strong proficiency in process piping, fixed equipment, and working knowledge of rotating equipment will be key to your success. In this role, you will independently evaluate, select, and adapt engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. You will also provide technical direction and quality review for mechanical deliverables while supporting project planning, execution, and coordination with clients, vendors, construction personnel, and other engineering disciplines.
Compensation:
$115,000-145,000 •anticipated annual salary may vary based on skills, experience, qualifications, location and internal peer equity. The pay range listed for this position is based on the anticipated base compensation at the time of the posting for preferred locations.
Work Arrangement:
Remote with every other Friday off. For candidates in the Washington area, hybrid in local Ferndale office Tuesday through Thursday, Monday and Friday from home is an alternative option.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of mechanical engineers for refinery and industrial clients, and perform lead tasks including scope development, design execution, quality review, and construction support. Assure all mechanical engineering designs meet applicable codes and standards including company standards, API, ASME, NBIC, and other requirements used in static and rotating equipment mechanical design and development.
