Summary:

Raycap is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I. This role is responsible for performing research, development, design, and testing of product. Design work is monitored and reviewed by a senior level engineer.

Primary Job responsibilities:

Work in a team environment to analyze requirements from the customer and develop design solutions Complete sustaining engineering tasks to support production products Complete 3D design of parts and assemblies, and create 2D part and assembly drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks/Inventor preferred) Participates as a drawing checker to ensure items are detailed correctly Participates in engineering review meetings Communicates with suppliers/vendors as required Builds and analyzes prototypes Conduct laboratory testing of products to ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; 1-5 years' experience a plus Proficiency in using solid modeling CAD software (experience with Inventor/ SolidWorks a plus) Proficient with MS office Products Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced, high volume production environment Excellent oral and written communication skills

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent Pay:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
