Job Description
Technical Specialist are responsible for delivering, removing, servicing and maintaining durable medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities. The job requires daily travel using a company vehicle. The service area may extend 250+ miles.
Job Responsibilities :
Schedules and completes deliveries and removals of medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities. Keeps accurate records of delivery, pick-up, maintenance and repair activities. Demonstrates and explains general operation and proper use of medical equipment to patient/customer. Works on-call rotation. Responsible for all general warehouse and fleet vehicle upkeep. Adheres to all company safety and compliance policies.Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or its equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid license with minimum 3 years driving experience. Must be insurable at standard automobile rates at all times. Customer support/service experience. Proficient with standard technology devices and Apps (mobile phones, tablets, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:
Technical or Trade School training or certification. Work experience in the medical device industry or healthcare industry.Physical and Safety Requirements :
Ability to sit, kneel, bend, or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to safety lift, move or transport, 50-75 lbs. with and without physical aids. Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for short and long-distance travel. Must wear provided personal protective equipment including but not limited to safety shoes, gloves, and protective clothing.Benefits:
