We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Permanent R D Engineer to join our innovative team in the Manufacturing industry. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in the field of engineering, with a focus on the development and implementation of new technologies and processes. This role will be instrumental in driving the future of our company, with a strong emphasis on innovation, efficiency, and the continual improvement of our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies, with a focus on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing product quality. Utilize AutoCAD to design and visualize complex manufacturing processes and equipment. Work closely with the production team to implement new processes and technologies, and to troubleshoot any issues that arise. Conduct research into new technologies and materials, and assess their feasibility for use in our manufacturing processes. Collaborate with other departments, including sales and marketing, to understand customer needs and to develop products that meet these needs. Ensure all new processes and technologies comply with industry standards and regulations. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, outlining the findings and recommendations of your research and development activities. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the R D team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is required. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software. Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and their application in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative approach to overcoming challenges. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience. Ability to work well in a team, and to lead and mentor junior staff. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver results on time and on budget. Interested in hearing more?
