Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Mud Pumps W2

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong machine design and mud pump experience to design, develop, and improve mechanical equipment. Responsibilities Design and develop mud pumps and related mechanical equipment. Create detailed designs, layouts, and drawings using CAD tools. Perform engineering calculations, stress analysis, FEA, and tolerance studies. Review P&IDs, electrical drawings, and hydraulic schematics. Design and support hydraulic and mechanical systems. Select and specify purchased components. Develop test plans and support equipment testing and validation. Prepare engineering reports and design documentation. Work with cross-functional teams on equipment design and development. Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and applicable industry standards. Required Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5+ years of mechanical/machine design experience. 5+ years of mud pump design and development experience. Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, or Inventor. Experience with ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation. Strong engineering calculations, stress analysis, and tolerance stack-up skills. Ability to read P&IDs, electrical, and hydraulic schematics. Knowledge of hydraulic systems. Familiarity with
API 6A, API
7K, and API 8C. Preferred Oil & Gas or oilfield equipment experience. Experience in
ISO/API Q1
manufacturing environments. Welding or fabrication experience. Pump component design. Equipment testing and validation. Refer
