Job Description

Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Engineer to maintain and optimize the performance and reliability of our production line equipment. This role is crucial in reducing equipment downtime, boosting productivity, and ensuring the seamless operation of our automated systems. The Equipment Engineer will collaborate extensively with other engineering team members to uphold a consistent and efficient production line.
Job Duties Equipment Management:
Oversee and rectify deviations in equipment performance, specializing in troubleshooting and repair of production machinery, including both automated and semi-automated equipment.
Compliance Assurance:
Ensure that all equipment adheres to functional specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintenance Scheduling:
Organize and execute regular calibration and preventive maintenance schedules for newly introduced production equipment.
Equipment Oversight:
Monitor the operational status of production machinery and coordinate equipment technician duties to maintain optimal performance.
Design Enhancement:
SOLIDWORKS
to refine and enhance equipment functionality and design.
Documentation:
Produce and maintain precise records and documentation pertaining to maintenance, modifications, repairs, and performance metrics.
Issue Reporting:
Follow established protocols to report and address equipment issues effectively.
Flexible Working Hours:
Be prepared to work during nights and weekends as required to support production needs if needed.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Prefer minimum of 1 year in an electro-mechanical role, dealing with manufacturing equipment.
Technical Proficiency:
Experience with SOLIDWORKS and LabVIEW is considered advantageous. Ability to solder and perform board testing is a desirable skill.
Industry Experience:
Previous employment in a semiconductor company would be a significant plus. Location This position will be on-site based in Sugar Land, Texas. WHY AOI?
