A rapidly growing manufacturing company is looking for a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer to join their motivated team in advancing process technology with creativity, passion, and unmatched expertise at a global scale.

Shift:

Monday thru Thursday 7am-4:30pm, Friday 7am-11am

Responsibilities:

The Mechanical Design Engineer designs new products, identifies improvements to existing products, and performs continuous improvements to identify and capture manufacturing throughput improvements. Ensures all safety and governmental requirements are met in the design of equipment. Consults with customers as well as the Sales, Service, Manufacturing, and Maintenance departments to determine optimal equipment and manufacturing process designs for to satisfy market needs. Leads and/or assists with R & D and prototype development. Provides technical support for manufacturing, service, installation, and sales on an as needed basis. Establish and coordinate the equipment maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule and recommended spare parts list. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations as required to eliminate future failures. Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. Study industrial processes to determine where and how application of equipment can be made. Write performance requirements for product development or engineering projects. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Required Knowledge in the design and implementation of industrial electromechanical equipment which may also include hydraulic and pneumatic components or subassemblies. Preferred Knowledge or experience designing industrial processing equipment. Preferred DFM experience. Preferred FEA experience. Preferred Occasional travel, typically less than 20% annually. Required Willing to take someone right out of college. Degree is main concern and ONLY actual requirement. Will accept college projects and internships as experience. No specific CAD software experience required. They will train as needed. Seeking skills aimed at designing industrial processing equipment. Will be designing with mild steel and stainless steel Need to be motivated. Must be US citizen or Perm resident. Will NOT accept visa candidates. #ST101

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
