Job Description

Key Accountabilities Engineering Procedures Developing cleaning, flushing, testing and other specialized procedures. Solve problems involving momentum, mass and energy transport, flow of fluids in piping, fluid mixing and fluids compressibility using the principles / technology of chemistry, physics, mathematics, engineering and related physical / natural sciences. Perform engineering calculations such as cleaning force ratio for compressible and non compressible flow, fluid velocity, volume and mass flow rates, reaction force, heat and mass transfer. Development of non-standard service procedures. Technical Liaison Discuss procedures, process and requirements with client to develop plan for cleaning. Make recommendations to client in terms of the process and procedures. Liaise between operations and clients on site. Report to Operations and the client on project status. Management of Engineering Resources Manage procedure execution, equipment and manpower in conjunction with the Project Manager. Supervise execution of procedures on site to ensure Operations meets client needs. Manage procedure execution, equipment and manpower in conjunction with the Project Manager. Supervise execution of procedures on site to ensure Operations meets client needs. Review and approve procedures and procedural changes by Field Engineers. Verify logistics of engineering procedures. Sales Support Provide initial assessment of requests for bids involving calculating system volumes, lengths, equipment requirements and basic job methodology. Research and coordinate equipment and materials from vendors as required. Liaise with Operations, Sales and Proposals in the preparation of the RFQ. Attend sales meetings and present to client. Health & Safety Ensure that all safety legislation is adhered to actively participate in all FourQuest Health & Safety policies and practices. Communicate any HSE issues or concerns to your Manager or Supervisor. Provide constructive solutions to problems. Ensure safety obligations with clients are carried out as per the terms of the agreements, and communicated to those involved. Other Work closely with the Engineering leadership in setting, executing and monitoring company's business goals and policies. Ensure adherence to FourQuest's Quality Management Systems. Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Engineering Sciences (Chemical or Mechanical) Certifications P.E. (an asset) or EIT License Class C Experience 3 to 5 Years Experience in Oil and Gas field service related to FourQuest Energy's service lines. 3 to 5 Years Commissioning, Pre-commissioning &/or Start Up experience Eligible for P.E or EIT status Other Requirements Able to work legally in the USA Able to travel and work internationally Valid Passport or able to obtain passport Can pass regular Drug and Alcohol Testing Can pass background security check Attributes Personal Characteristics Demonstrate the highest level of integrity and honesty. Communication & Collaboration Clients:
Daily communication to answer questions, provide information, offer guidance, and build relationships
Project Management:
Daily coordination including consulting, negotiating, and providing direction
Field Engineers:
Daily interaction to explain, interpret, and instruct on project requirements
Field Staff:
Daily communication to provide guidance and ensure proper execution of work
Sales Team:
Weekly communication for updates and information exchange
Engineering Management:
Weekly collaboration for consultation, guidance, and instruction
Vendors:
Monthly communication regarding materials, services, and coordination
Work Schedule & Travel Field Work:
Approximately 50% of time on job sites, with shifts up to 12 hours
Office Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Weekend Work:
As needed based on project demands
Travel:
50-75% travel (up to ~40 weeks per year) depending on client needs Must be flexible with schedule and able to travel on short notice Leadership & Supervision Acts as a lead team member, providing direction without full supervisory authority Monitors and guides work of field personnel as assigned Plans and coordinates project work activities May perform similar duties alongside team members Work Environment Fast-paced environment requiring strong focus and attention to detail Frequent need for quick decision-making and problem-solving Ability to manage moderately complex, high-pressure situations Expected to deliver timely, results-driven outcomes Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs Regular standing, walking, bending, and sitting Work on uneven terrain, wet or slippery surfaces Exposure to heavy equipment and moving machinery Exposure to chemicals (acids, bases), dust, noise, and varying weather conditions Combination of indoor and outdoor work environments Decision-Making & Responsibility Makes decisions impacting project-level operations and team workflow Provides technical recommendations on equipment, materials, and manpower Adjusts procedures and scope based on project needs Handles minor technical and contractual client issues Collaborates with Engineering Manager or Team Lead on: Process improvements and corrective actions Reviewing job requirements and ensuring work accuracy
