In-house engineering experts have invested hundreds of hours in shock tuning to deliver optimal results that are literally felt by a 'seat-of-the-pants' experience. Falcon shocks are built with state of the art methods including CAD design, finite element analysis, in-house lab simulation and rigorous real world testing.Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Falcon Shocks engineering team and lead design, development, and validation efforts for advanced suspension and shock absorber systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical design, product development, and testing, with a passion for automotive performance and innovation. Previous work in the shock/damper and suspension industry is a huge plus.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of suspension and shock absorber components from concept through production. Perform engineering analysis, modeling, and simulation to optimize performance, durability, and manufacturability. Oversee prototype builds, testing, and validation—including vehicle and dyno-based shock tuning. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and testing. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians. Drive continuous improvement in design standards, materials, and processes.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred). 8+ years of engineering experience, preferably within the automotive or off-road performance industry. Proven experience in shock absorber, suspension, or damper design and tuning is highly desirable. Strong proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or similar) and FEA tools. Knowledge of materials, machining, and manufacturing processes. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Passion for off-road vehicles and performance engineering is a plus.Why Join Falcon:
