Compensation Range:
$95000 to $125000

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Design Engineer to help develop our next generation of advanced Data Center Cooling Products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the HVAC industry, including the intricacies of system design, component selection, and performance optimization. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop innovative HVAC systems, focusing on sustainability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Select appropriate components, including fans, heat exchangers, and compressors, to meet design specifications and performance requirements. Analyze refrigeration cycle performance to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability of HVAC systems. Awareness of electrical diagrams and control systems. Stay familiar with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure designs are cutting-edge and compliant. Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations. Participate in product testing
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC system design and engineering. Profound understanding of the refrigeration cycle, component functionality, and system performance optimization. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and control systems. Familiarity with various types of compressors, fans, heat exchangers, coils, and valves in HVAC systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Experience with complex assemblies of many parts. HVAC industry experience in a manufacturer.
Desired Skills:
General knowledge of CAD Large commercial, chiller, or industrial refrigeration design experience Product testing and troubleshooting Experience with parts specification and parts list generation
