Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Perform radar enclosure and associated PCBA integration design Create engineering drawings Perform thermal, structural, and modal analysis Support integration and field-testing activities for client's MESA-based products Conduct enclosure trade-studies/sketches Perform detailed CAD design Conduct hand calculations and FEA simulation Analyze customer environment specifications and tailor solutions accordingly Manage fabrication vendors from prototype through production Implement Product Life Management processes and controls Other related tasks required to fulfill the needs of the business
Must-Have Requirements:
BS, MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, with +5 years experience Eligible to handle export-controlled data (ITAR, EAR) Core skills / technologies: Senior-engineer level experience in mechanical engineering design for electro-mechanical products, with deep understanding of thermal, electrical, and environmental considerations. Knowledge of the mechanical considerations of PCB design and PCB packaging. Ability to advise RF, Microwave, Digital & Antenna engineering teams on constraints (mechanical, environmental, thermal) & work to a production solution. Advanced-to-expert level user of Solidworks. Knowledge in implementing, interpreting and explaining
ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
Knowledge in hand and computational analysis for modal, stress and thermal considerations. Years of experience (if required): 5+ years
Nice-to-Have Skills:
