Job Description
Project Engineer - Food Processing Equipment Mepaco | Beaver Dam, WI Full-Time | Salaried | Employee-Owned Help Feed the World Through Innovation Mepaco is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the design and execution of custom food processing equipment projects. From initial concept through installation and start-up, you'll work directly with customers, sales, manufacturing, and project teams to deliver innovative solutions that help food manufacturers improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality. If you enjoy variety, customer interaction, and seeing your engineering solutions come to life on the production floor, we would love to talk with you. What You'll Do Lead customer projects from quotation through final installation Develop equipment solutions that meet customer production objectives Create and review product designs using CAD software Collaborate with Sales to develop technically sound proposals Partner with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality teams throughout project execution Obtain customer approvals and ensure project requirements are successfully met Support start-up activities and customer service initiatives as needed What We're Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Project management experience or demonstrated project leadership ability CAD experience, preferably SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience Food processing equipment Material handling systems Conveying systems Custom machinery design Manufacturing or engineered-to-order equipment environments Why Mepaco? 100% Employee-Owned (ESOP) Work on highly customized equipment solutions Diverse engineering challenges Collaborative team environment Strong reputation within the food processing industry Excellent benefits and long-term career opportunities
