Osborn is a multi-discipline team of engineers and designers in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection/life safety, technology, structural, civil, transportation and commissioning. Osborn Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3 - 5 Years' experience for our Morgantown, WV office location who will report to the Director of Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate would have working knowledge of Revit and Mechanical design in the Consulting Engineering environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform analysis, design and documentation of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing systems, and controls under direct supervision. Perform advanced heating and cooling load calculations under direct supervision. Use the psychrometric chart properly for any HVAC system. Coordinate with other disciplines for all HVAC design elements. Assist in preparation of design deliverables for
SD, DD, CD
level documents.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
3 - 5 Years of experience in Mechanical Design in Consulting Engineering. Knowledge of mechanical design and load calculation software such as Revit, IES
VE, HAP, TRACE.
Excellent Organizational and Communication skills. Proactive and Collaborative team member. Experience in designing Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Required. EI License Preferred.
