Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be constructed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Assist in the development of 3D models and basic building components using Revit and AutoCAD Software Perform light modeling tasks to support project design and coordination efforts Create detailed construction drawings, including installation and spool drawings Generate Bills of Material (BOM) to support project needs Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and communication Apply foundational knowledge of Autodesk tools, including Revit and AutoCAD, in daily project work Collaborate with team members to support project deliverables and deadlines Visiting jobsites to complete Laser Scans, processing scans, and work with the Project Team in the BIM model. Assist Database Lead with maintaining Industrial BIM Database. Actively increase knowledge base of construction methods and detailing to improve professional abilities.MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Associate's Degree/Diploma/Certificate from an accredited two-year college. Minimum of one year of experience with AutoCAD software. Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and Navisworks is preferred but not required. Experience working with Construction Drawing and Industrial P&ID Drawings is preferred but not required. Thorough knowledge and understanding of process piping is preferred but not required.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver's licenseMENTAL AND PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Excellent organization and communication skills Ability to perform quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines Proven dependability Strong problem solving and leadership skills Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook Ability to read construction documents, product literature, specifications and cut sheets Strong mechanical aptitude and good math skills Proven ability to partner with design teams and field personnel Ability to work on multiple projects and multi-task effectivelyENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally May have occasional visits to a job site which would require periods of standing, walking and/or climbing stairs Occasional exposure to variety of temperature, weather and construction site conditionsEQUIPMENT/TOOLS
