Overview We are searching for an enthusiastic Drafter to join our growing 16 person consulting engineering firm located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. We will consider drafters with all levels of experience. You will be involved in drafting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for virtually every type of building - we specialize in long term owner occupied buildings such as educational, healthcare, and governmental facilities where our attention to detail and quality designs are valued and appreciated. What You'll Do Set up architectural backgrounds for drafting building MEPFP systems Draft mark-ups for MEPFP systems in AutoCAD and Revit Plot drawings Scan drawings Format specifications Requirements Experience in AutoCad and Revit Excellent oral and written communication skills Desire to learn and grow in a relaxed, team atmosphere Ability to interpret architectural drawings, schematics, and engineering plans effectively. Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with construction detail documentation and construction process workflows is a plus. Knowledge of building code compliance standards across various jurisdictions is a plus. Pay:

$21.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
