Mechanical Drafter PEBCO, Inc. | Paducah, KY PEBCO is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to support our engineering and manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for creating and modifying customer drawings, fabrication drawings, bills of materials, inspection requirements, and shop documentation using 2D and 3D CAD software and PEBCO's integrated manufacturing system. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys solving design challenges, and can effectively translate customer requirements and engineering specifications into accurate manufacturing documentation. Experience with CAD software, mechanical design, and manufacturing processes is required.

What You'll Do:

Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings, layouts, assembly drawings, detail drawings, sketches, and diagrams Prepare and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and purchased parts lists Develop and update inspection requirements and quality documentation Create shop notes, manufacturing instructions, and related production documentation Review project files to determine customer design requirements and ensure drawing accuracy and completeness Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality personnel to support production needs Visit PEBCO's manufacturing facility as needed to inspect products, troubleshoot design-related issues, and support production schedules Specify and size electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic actuators for PEBCO products Estimate weights of fabricated components and assemblies Compile and maintain electronic and hard-copy job documentation

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Drafting, Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred Experience using 2D and 3D CAD software in a manufacturing or industrial environment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes Experience creating bills of materials and production documentation preferred Working knowledge of electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is a plus Strong computer skills and attention to detail Experience using Autodesk Inventor is highly preferred Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Experience with ERP or integrated manufacturing software is a plus Schedule & Compensation Full-time position Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts Occasional overtime as needed

Pay:
