Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement while leveraging advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, specifically Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical. Help ensure high-quality design outputs by creating and upholding standardized drafting templates, libraries, and best practices. Maintain strict revision integrity and compliance by supervising the entire document control lifecycle, including drawing reviews, BOM management, and release processes. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as manufacturing and engineering, to manage project timelines and ensure all deliverables meet established deadlines. Drive organizational productivity by acting as the primary subject-matter expert for CAD systems, PDM/PLM administration, and workflow automation initiatives. Required Qualifications Completion of an Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related discipline is mandatory, with a Bachelor's degree viewed as a plus. Minimum of seven years of professional design experience within industrial or manufacturing settings, including at least three years in a supervisory or team lead capacity. Deep technical knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical, particularly regarding sheet metal design, assembly modeling, and BOM management. Comprehensive understanding of PDM/PLM software, GD&T, dimensional tolerancing, and industry-standard manufacturing drafting protocols. Demonstrate the ability to deliver precise engineering documentation under tight deadlines by effectively managing drafting resources and shifting project priorities.
