Overview:

The Drafter is responsible for creating accurate spool drawings, fabrication details, and piece marks using Acorn software to support the company's pipe fabrication operations. This role works closely with Project Management and Production teams to ensure drawings are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Create accurate spool drawings, fabrication details, and piece marks from customer isometric and orthographic drawings
• Interpret drawings and provide drafting support to Project Managers and fabrication personnel
• Complete assignments accurately and within established deadlines
• Communicate workload status and project progress with the Drafting Supervisor
• Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to resolve drawing and fabrication issues
• Maintain drawing accuracy and quality standards throughout the drafting process
• Comply with all Company Core Safety Rules, policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting isometric and orthographic drawings
• Knowledge of pipe fabrication processes
• Experience working in both Acorn and AutoCAD systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines and business demands

Pay:

$23.00 - $34.00 per hour
