Mechanical Designer

Now hiring for a Mechanical Designer in Columbia, MD This is a contract position for 1 month but there is a possibility of going direct for the right person. Description Seeking a Mechanical Designer who can generate mechanical drawing packages in AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D for parcel conveyor systems for several large customers. Candidates must have some mechanical aptitude - not just drawing lines on a paper. Candidates will be tested on using the command prompt, line-weights, sheet sets, plotting to pdfs, and x-refs. The ideal candidate can work independently, is technically sharp, and fast. There may be some travel, approximately 4-6 weeks per year, depending upon client projects. Negotiable Salary Pay:

$35.00 - $39.00 per hour
