Job Summary We are looking for a Drafter who will support engineers by creating and updating prints for all products. The drafter will help with ensuring that all programs will have proper documentation and prints while allowing engineers to design products as needed. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are authorized to access information under this program/ contract. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Support engineering drawing workload. Help with standardization of documentation for designs. Complete ECO and Redline print updates. Create preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysis. Create engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing. Create design specifications, documentation, and material lists. Prepare complete documentation packages for engineers. Verify drawings are correct to specifications, codes, and other regulations. Developing technical reports for engineers. Other duties as assigned. Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Communication skills with an emphasis on reading and writing for creating documentation and reports. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop creative solutions Education High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required Associates Mechanical Engineering or SolidWorks Certification, preferred.
