Create detailed manufacturing drawings and assembly drawings with BOMs Apply sound drafting practices, GD&T, datum structures, tolerance stack-ups, fits, and clearances Interpret complex 2D geometry and existing drawings Work closely with machinists, programmers, engineers, and management to develop manufacturable designs Consider how materials, machining processes, workpiece distortion, repeatability, and rigidity will affect your designs Review designs for functionality, accuracy, tolerances, manufacturability, and ease of assembly Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues and create practical solutions Make design changes based on feedback from the shop floor and customers Help improve existing products, processes, and designs Develop bills of materials and supporting documentation Provide design support for quoting and estimating when needed Occasionally support customer projects, installations, or technical questions Skills & Experience Required Proficient in

Ability to create: 3D part and assembly models Detailed manufacturing drawings Assembly drawings with BOMs Strong understanding of mechanical design principles Understanding of drafting standards and familiarity with
