This is a great opportunity for an entry-level candidate with CAD experience who is looking to grow their career in mechanical design and engineering. The Entry-Level Mechanical Designer will work across multiple projects, supporting Project Engineers and project teams with drawings, parts/BOM information, work orders, and documentation required for fabrication. Job Responsibilities Read and understand mechanical detail drawings and technical documentation. Utilize CAD software or drawing viewers to retrieve part and drawing information. Develop spare parts lists from materials ordered for various projects. Create project Advance Bills of Material (ABMs) and Work Orders based on direction from the Project Engineer. Collect required drawings and sub-assembly drawings to send for fabrication. Enter and retrieve parts/BOM information within a database. Support multiple project teams and ensure required documentation is completed in a timely manner. Develop maintenance procedures for various conveyor components and format them according to customer requirements. Assist with developing Failure Mode Effects Analysis documents (FMEA & PFMEA) based on system drawings and sequence-of-operation information provided by Project Engineers. Complete assigned tasks within project schedule deadlines, including overtime as required to meet project dates. Education Requirements Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical design, a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Qualifications CAD experience required. Experience reading mechanical drawings and technical documents. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and with a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. SQL, SharePoint, Dataverse, or Power Apps experience is a plus.
