Your expertise will contribute directly to the success of our designs and the efficiency of our production process.

Responsibilities Design & Drafting:

Create detailed drawings for truck and trailer designs, including complete bills of material and routings

Innovation:

Collaborate with the team to generate ideas for new product designs and improvements to existing ones

Update & Maintain Drawings:

Ensure that all design changes are accurately reflected in updated drawings and bills of material

Collaboration:

Work closely with production teams to ensure drawings are clear, precise, and meet production needs

Timeliness:

Ensure drawings and bills of material are completed on schedule and align with Westmor's drafting standards Compensation The starting pay range for this position is $20-$26 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location. Qualifications Technical Education or Certifications:

Relevant technical education, drafting certifications, or applicable experience

CAD Expertise:

Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software to create and modify detailed drawings Attention to

Detail:

Ability to create accurate, high-quality designs while meeting all necessary codes and industry standards

Software Proficiency:

Competence with AutoCAD, JD Edwards ERP software, and other Windows-based programs

Communication Skills:

Strong communication skills to effectively work with colleagues and other teams

Organizational Skills:

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision
