AutoCAD Drafter

Currently we are looking for an experienced cabinetry/architectural AutoCAD Technician who will develop working drawings of product, enabling manufacturing to build product to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be a liaison between customer and manufacturing responding to our changing customer needs.

Qualifications:

Two year drafting degree and 1 year of equivalent work experience with advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Strong problem solving skills Effective and professional oral and written communication skills Detail orientated Basic Computer skills Experience in kitchen planning or design background a plus

Essential Functions:

Review customer supplied layout to identify, seek clarification and correct technical problems or create layout from sketch or verbal instructions when needed Interpret and understand various computer programs, specification resources, catalog and other resources to create new or modify existing drawings for customer orders Seek clarification from CS staff and/or dealers on orders as needed via phone, email or fax Answer questions from dealers on product design and similar topics Re-draw change order products as needed Involve senior staff when conflicts/ situations outside of typical guidelines arise Complete required volume of tasks while maintaining quality of work Assist in problem solving with manufacturing staff on specialized drawings. Actively participate in creations, updates and revisions to specification catalog.
