As our new piping designer, you will be working across a wide range of mechanical design knowledge areas and have a desired focus area in design of chemical, power, and/or industrial facilities. The candidate will work with experienced engineers and designers who will provide mentoring and technical leadershipJob DescriptionTasks and Responsibilities
- Conceptual design and cost estimation
- Develop equipment arrangement plans and details for new and retrofit plant processes
- Design process and utility piping systems and supports
- Use ASME B31.1 and B31.3 piping in performing design
- Coordination of design with designers, internal project team, and external clients
- 3D modeling and developing Orthographic and Isometric drawings
- Designing piping systems and creating drawings using Autodesk Plant 3D and Revit software
- Work with the lead engineer to design equipment layout and piping systems
- Work with lead engineers to maintain and develop the company's quality standards
- Provide input of piping design hours, scope, and schedule for proposalsQualificationsYour starting point for constant growth

For this role, we believe your starting point is:
- 2+ years of experience designing industrial piping and equipment arrangements for manufacturing facilities.
- Experience using Autodesk Plant3D or Revit to develop 3D models and detailed design drawings for equipment and piping at
manufacturing facilities.
- Desire to work in chemical, power, and industrial market segment.
