ZACHRY GROUP
is seeking a talented and self-motivated Senior Piping Drafter to join our Omaha, NE office. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or Associate Degree in drafting 4+ years of piping drafting experience Proficiency in AutoCAD Strong understanding of P&IDs, piping drawings, and deliverables Knowledge of pipe supports, components, and fittings Understanding of revision control and drafting standards Ability to manage multiple priorities and client standards Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to travel for field assignments Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications Experience in power, energy, or industrial projects Additional drafting/design certifications Familiarity with multiple CAD platforms or tools Key Responsibilities Develop plot plans, equipment layouts, flow diagrams, and P&IDs Create piping plans and isometrics from layouts or sketches Incorporate revisions based on design and checker feedback Translate design concepts into detailed construction drawings Add piping details and notes based on P&IDs Prepare bills of materials and tie-in lists Produce sections and detailed 2D annotations Perform valve take-offs and review drawing changes Support document control, revisions, and field documentation
