Drafter Job Description We are seeking Drafters and Detailers to join our team. This role is essential for detailing joists and decking, and we aim to hire multiple talented individuals who will contribute to our dynamic work environment. Responsibilities Detail joists and decking with precision and accuracy. Utilize AutoCAD and transition to Tecla for drafting needs. Apply strong foundational drafting principles, ensuring correct dimensioning and drawing straight lines. Visualize and comprehend how drawings impact and interact with other components, similar to practical applications in machining, mechanics, or surveying. Essential Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and willingness to transition to Tecla. Experience in 3D modeling and CAD programs. Strong drafting skills with attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in structural steel, steel joist detailing, and fabrication. in machining, mechanics, wood truss, or surveying is advantageous. PM skills are beneficial, along with the ability to read blueprints and construction plans. Motivated and driven with a proactive attitude. Ability to visualize and understand the impact of drawings, akin to assembling items without instructions Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
