Onsite Current UC employees must apply via SuccessFactors Primary Duties The Student Research Assistant in Engineering Graphics will support Dr. Kristi Bartlett's research group by helping with projects related to computer-aided design (CAD) education and the use of engineering design graphics in industry.
The specific duties may include:
Working with graduate research assistants to interpret qualitative data from interviews with engineering students and engineering professionals Analysis of online educational media such as CAD YouTube tutorials Assisting with the design and testing of educational activities related to CAD and 3D printing Minimum Requirements Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at UC. Majoring in mechanical engineering or a related degree program. Knows how to use computer-aided design (CAD) software and has taken at least 1 full semester of CAD at the university level. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and time management skills. Must be at least 16 years of age. As a UC student employee of an Ohio public institution, you will not contribute to the federal Social Security system, other than contributions to Medicare.
