Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Drafter to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience using AutoCAD and 3D modeling software who is comfortable creating and modifying detailed mechanical drawings.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Job Responsibilities Create, modify, and organize mechanical drawings using current-generation AutoCAD software. Develop general arrangement and physical outline drawings for customer approval and manufacturing. Convert CAD files as needed. Use Pro/ENGINEER (ProE) to create 3D models when required. Review mechanical and electrical drawing packages for technical and typographical accuracy. Prepare approval and as-built drawing packages, CT curves, and test reports for customer submission. Maintain and organize engineering drawing files within a document management system. Prepare device tag files for procurement. Update order tracking databases with accurate information. Follow company specifications, engineering requirements, and applicable national and international standards. Work closely with Production, Industrialization, Sourcing, and Quality teams as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Drafting, 3D Modeling, Mechanical Design, or a related field. At least 1 year of experience using mechanical CAD software such as: AutoCAD SolidWorks Pro/ENGINEER (ProE) Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
