Engineering Mechanical Designer United States (Remote) | Direct-hire | $80,000-$100,000 Konik is partnering with a Canada-based manufacturing client that is looking to add a Minnesota-based Mechanical Designer to their growing team. The Designer will be working alongside a team of engineers, drafters, and project managers to design large industrial equipment. Mechanical Designer Responsibilities Generate conceptual parts and assemblies utilizing CAD software. Analyze assembly representations to ensure fit, function, absence of interference, and design efficiency. Employ solid modeling techniques to develop new components and systems. Validate the accuracy of models and/or drawings to ensure alignment with intended design concepts, customer specifications, manufacturing standards, and applicable code requirements. Support the Design department by preparing essential documents required for customer approval and subsequent project execution. Mechanical Designer Requirements Associate's degree in a related engineering field. A minimum of ten years of relevant experience is required. Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and REVIT is advantageous. Preference for familiarity with power plant and gas turbine auxiliary systems design and detailing or related industry requirements. Advanced skills in modeling, detailing, and knowledge of established industry codes and standards are essential. Technical proficiency in Autodesk software and the Microsoft Office suite is required to maintain accurate and readily accessible records.
