Job Description

Drafting - Excel Machinery, Amarillo TX Excel Machinery Ltd, an employee-owned company, has an exciting opportunity available in Amarillo Tx. We are a 30+-year-old international company, and our primary customer base is in United States and South America. Most products/ parts designed and produced pertain to equipment utilized in rock crushing, screening and conveying systems.

Responsibilities:

This Design position will be responsible for the design of structure, conveyors and other crushing equipment related to aggregate, sand and mining industries. The position will utilize current Autodesk Inventor Software to produce conceptual 3D, general assembly, detailed design and manufacturing prints. This is an advanced position, and responsibilities will include the coordination and implementation of design/engineering standard work.

Qualifications:

A Drafting certification/degree is a plus, but experience will be considered in lieu of. The applicant should be familiar with Autodesk Inventor and/or Factory Design suite. This position is demanding and will require multitasking. The applicant must be comfortable communicating and building strong, respectful working relationships with internal and external customers. This person must be self-motivated and ethical and needs advanced computer skills using business software, internet, email, etc.
