$26•$33 per hour Job Details•We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Mechanical Designer to join our rapidly growing Engineering team. This exciting role will provide you with an opportunity to showcase your technical skills in a high-energy, fast-paced, and innovative environment. You will work on a variety of projects, from conceptual design to product realization. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to apply them to real-world applications.
Responsibilities:
Utilize CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications. Prepare and modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs. Conduct design analysis and calculations, applying sound engineering principles. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements and company standards. Provide technical advice to project teams and clients, demonstrating excellent communication and customer interaction skills. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product quality. Continuously update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. CAD Certificate is required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design using AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, or similar 3D CAD software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in custom engineering and ability to interpret and work from customer specifications. Excellent communication and customer interaction skills. Ability to edit and make modifications to existing designs. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
