We are hiring a BIM/VDC designer to model plumbing and piping systems in 3D and turn those models into shop drawings and spool drawings the shop and field can use. This role is mainly plumbing and piping. You will work in Revit and Navisworks to build accurate models, find clashes early, and produce clear fabrication and installation drawings. What you will do Model plumbing and piping systems in Revit from drawings, specs, and project information Route pipe so it can be installed in the field, not just look correct in the model Run clash detection in Navisworks and help resolve conflicts with other trades Create shop drawings for field installation Create spool drawings for pipe fabrication Update models and drawings when the design changes Work with project managers, field teams, and other designers during coordination Follow project standards and keep drawings clean, accurate, and easy to use What we're looking for Strong knowledge of plumbing and piping systems Hands-on experience with Revit Hands-on experience with Navisworks Experience producing shop drawings Experience producing spool drawings Ability to read construction drawings and specs Attention to detail and clear communication Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (no visa sponsorship)

Experience:

3+ years in BIM/VDC, plumbing/piping design, or a mix of field piping/plumbing work plus modeling. Nice to have Field or trade background in plumbing or pipefitting Fabrication or prefabrication experience Industrial or process piping exposure Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar project platforms Who does well in this role You do well here if you understand how plumbing and piping go in the field. You can take a model from design through shop drawings and spool drawings with accuracy and common sense.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
