We are the industry leader specializing in Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) projects for large residential buildings, campuses, industrial facilities, and federal properties. The Position We are looking for a highly detailed, permanent CAD Drafting Technician to create and manage our drawing documentation. In this role, your primary focus will be converting as-built PDF drawings into AutoCAD format and keeping our master engineering records updated. You will work 100% from provided PDF markups, redlines, and field sketches with no field deployment or site visits required. Key Responsibilities

• Convert legacy as-built PDF markups, field redlines, and hand-sketches into clean AutoCAD files .
• Update and maintain existing 2D piping layouts, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings to match current as-built paperwork.
• Audit newly digitized files against original PDF markups to guarantee precise scaling, dimensions, and text alignment.
• Maintain standard company CAD protocols, including strict management of layers, blocks, and external references (Xrefs).
• Organize, catalog, and manage the master drawing archives to ensure the most current revisions are easily accessible. Requires

Experience:

Minimum of [1-3+] years of professional experience handling CAD conversions, redline updates, or as-built modifications.

Software Proficiency:

Strong, efficient skills in AutoCAD (2D drafting, scaling, and precision line work).

Technical Interpretation:

Ability to accurately read and interpret hand-drawn field markups, piping symbols, and mechanical blueprints.

Detail:

High precision in copying data, dimensions, and annotations from PDFs without omitting critical field notes.

Education:
