Job Summary:

We are looking for a CAD Technician II to support engineering, maintenance, and operations teams. This position will create, update, and manage technical drawings and engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and revise mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software. Convert engineering concepts, sketches, redlines, and field markups into accurate drawings. Update existing and legacy drawings based on engineering or field changes. Maintain drawing revisions and documentation in a controlled PDM/drawing management system. Work with engineers, maintenance, and operations teams to understand drawing requirements. Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing drawings. Apply basic GD&T and standard drafting practices. Support basic engineering calculations and technical specifications under engineering direction. Maintain accurate drawing records and revision history. Help improve CAD and documentation processes. Provide guidance or training to team members on CAD and drawing procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Associate degree or 2-year technical degree in CAD/CAM, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering Technology, or Manufacturing Technology . Minimum 3 years of relevant CAD drafting or engineering support experience . Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software . Ability to create and revise detailed drawing packages. Knowledge of GD&T and drafting standards . Experience working with redlines, field changes, and legacy drawings. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and documentation tools. Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred:

AutoCAD experience. Manufacturing, industrial, or plant engineering experience. SolidWorks PDM or similar document-control system experience. Mechanical/electrical equipment documentation experience.
